The IT Assistant (Physical Security Systems Specialist) will be responsible for the design, configuration, and maintenance of the physical security systems at the client in Beirut, Lebanon.
Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Unit, the IT Assistant (Physical Security Systems Specialist) will perform the following tasks:
* Assist in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and configuration of Access Control System, Video Surveillance System, Perimeter Intrusion Detection System, and other various security related systems
* Assist in installation, troubleshooting, and configuration of ICT infrastructure equipment including network switches, wireless access points, cabling, patch panels, racks etc.
* Coordinate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and associated equipment that support voice and data network
* Coordinate installation of equipment such as raceways, trunks, and conduit.
* Assist in routine inspections, testing and maintenance of ICT infrastructure equipment
* Assist Network Engineers, System Administrators and Helpdesk when necessary
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of network and datacenter diagrams and detailed site documentation

The IT Assistant (Physical Security Systems Specialist) is expected to achieve the following
goals:
* Physical access control door readers, video surveillance cameras, PIDS sensors mounted and connected
* ICT Infrastructure equipment including LAN switches, servers, wireless access points mounted and connected
* Structured LAN Cabling, wiring closets, fiber enclosures, patch panels, and racks installed
* Technical documentation for assigned tasks/activities
* The IT Assistant (Physical Security Systems Specialist) is expected to achieve the following goals:

Qualifications
A High School Diploma with specialization in Electronics or a related area is required.

A minimum of 5 years proven experience building and maintaining integrated physical security technologies such as electronic access control, video surveillance, motion sensors, intruder detection/alarms, chip-based pass and ID technologies is required.
English and French are the working languages. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of a second official language is an advantage.
