Financial Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our monthly closing process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP Microsoft 365 and a background in a Big 4 accounting firm. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Utilize ERP Microsoft 365 for financial reporting and analysis.
• Maintain and enhance ERP systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial data.
• Train and support staff in the use of ERP Microsoft 365.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Implement recommendations from audit findings to enhance financial controls.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role.
• Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong plus
• Proficiency in ERP Microsoft 365 is essential.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Familiar with SEC requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
