Job Summary:
The Demi Chef de Partie will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a professional kitchen environment. This role will support the Chef de Partie and ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
Job Responsibility:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Help in cooking and presenting dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Follow the instructions and guidance of the Chef de Partie in all kitchen activities.
- Assist in monitoring food stock levels and placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary certification or diploma is a plus.
