Job Description
The role:
Demand Planner - Supply Chain
Responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate the preparation of forecasts with the Key Account Managers (KAM) for the customers/ distribution channels, using the forecasting tool
- Carry out demand reviews, challenges assumptions, provides functional business and tool support to the KAM (Key account managers)
- Analyse the reliability of forecasts and the achievement of assumptions, and recommends adjustments to the demand plan if necessary and identify and implement improvement actions
- Prepare and coordinate the monthly demand planning
- Identify deviations from the budget plan, track the risks & opportunities and coordinate the identification, recommendation and implementation of convergence actions.
- Assume the role of key user and prepare and provide functional and tools support to sales, finance and operations for the annual budget process and interim reviews
- Focus on stock management, defining and optimizing the stock levels of finished goods and analyse the Out of stock and propose improvements/influence stock & planning policies and flow diagrams
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a specialization in Supply Chain,
- 3 years’ experience as a forecaster, ideally in the food industry/ production company
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel), knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
Languages:
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Knowledge of any other language is a plus (French)
