The Role


Consolidation & Reporting Supervisor


Summary of the Role


We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Consolidation and Reporting Supervisor to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of our Group Financial Statements, while also contributing to process automation and digital transformation across financial reporting.


The ideal candidate is well-organized, possesses strong technical accounting expertise, and has the ability to challenge financial information reported by subsidiaries worldwide. They should be comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, international environment.


Responsibilities


  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a small team of two professionals, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Group Financial Consolidation: Perform the monthly consolidation of Group Financial Statements and supervise the review of the subsidiaries’ reportings.
  • Financial Review & Analysis: Conduct a full analytical review of consolidated financials, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Subsidiary Reporting Oversight: Analyze and validate financial reporting packages from Group entities, performing consistency checks.
  • Quarterly Reporting: Prepare and submit consolidated financial reports for banks and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Deadlines: Work closely with Finance Managers across multiple regions to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reporting Enhancements: Develop and improve reporting packages by integrating additional financial and non-financial KPIs.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of consolidation procedures and accounting treatments in response to evolving business developments.
  • Group Accounting Manual: Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of the Group Accounting Manual to ensure compliance with the Group Accounting Policies.
  • Budget Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis between actuals and budgeted figures, identifying key drivers.
  • Special Projects: Support the Consolidation Manager in various ad hoc projects and strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education


  • Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA qualification is a strong asset).
  • Experience: at least 5 years of experience in audit, accounting, or consolidation

Technical Skills


  • Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power BI is a strong asset)
  • Experience with consolidation tools such as Hyperion, Tagetik, or OneStream is a plus
  • Ability to conceptualize financial needs and develop automated solutions for process efficiency
