Job Summary:
The Chef De Partie is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared efficiently and according to the highest culinary standards.
Job Responsibility:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in your designated section.
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing new dishes.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow recipes and kitchen safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely ingredient delivery.
- Help with the development of daily and weekly specials.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or relevant role in a busy kitchen environment.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality.
- Certificate in culinary arts or similar field is preferred.
