Job Summary: The After-Sales Hydraulic Technician is responsible for delivering technical support, maintenance, and repair services for concrete pump components, focusing primarily on hydraulic systems. This role emphasizes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.

Reporting to: After-Sales Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembly and Disassembly of Hydraulic Components • Perform assembly and disassembly of hydraulic systems for concrete pumps, including brands such as Putzmeister, Schwing, and Cifa.
• Work on components like hoppers, S-valves, and hydraulic pistons, ensuring proper reinstallation and performance after service.
• Conduct post-repair testing to validate functionality and quality.
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting
• Identify and troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical issues in concrete pump systems.
• Pinpoint failures efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
Hydraulic Pump Servicing and Repair
• Service and repair hydraulic pumps, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of rotary groups.
• Conduct rigorous testing on repaired components to ensure safety and operational excellence.
Technical Interpretation
• Interpret technical diagrams, graphs, and schematics to guide accurate repairs and troubleshooting.
Parts Identification and Communication
• Use catalogs and other resources to accurately identify required parts.
• Communicate clearly and effectively via email for reporting, inquiries, and documentation.
Sales Support
• Build relationships with clients by identifying their needs during visits and recommending spare parts or accessories.
• Drive sales by initiating discussions on spare parts and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a hydraulic technician, ideally in concrete pumps or heavy equipment.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting technical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
Key Skills:
• Concrete Pump Expertise: Repair and maintenance of concrete pumps (e.g., Putzmeister, Schwing, Cifa).
• Hydraulic Systems Knowledge: Skilled in hydraulic systems, assembly/disassembly of hoppers, S-valves, and hydraulic pistons.
• Technical Sales Acumen: Capable of identifying client needs and driving sales of spare parts.
