Technical Sales Executive - Protective Coatings

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Technical Sales Executive for Protective Coatings, you will provide professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer’s satisfaction. You will also support the Sales manager in promoting and selling Performance Coatings products to new/existing customers.
This position is based in Kuwait and reports to the Sales Manager for Performance Coatings.

Responsibilities: 

• Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working on site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectations.

  
  

• Carry out inspections of a specific project assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the ITP and working procedures in order to ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification.

  
  

• Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.

  
  

• Technical background and/or experiencer in protective coatings is preferred.

  
  

• Proficiency in English is required.
