The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in the construction and building industry by identifying and attracting top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring that the company hires skilled professionals who align with its goals and culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  2. Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and fit for the organization.
  3. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  4. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to identify potential candidates.
  5. Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  6. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
  8. Monitor industry trends to stay informed about competitive hiring practices.
  9. Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
