We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in
supporting our Microsoft environment. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks,
including installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, as well as managing Active Directory and user
accounts. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise and keeping our systems
up and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server clustered environments, including
web application services, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File Services, and Active Directory.
Manage Office 365/Azure administration.
Administer and configure Hybrid Exchange Environments - Microsoft Exchange Server (on
premise) & Office 365
Administer Hyper-V virtual server environments.
Experience with HCI systems (Nutanix, DELL VxRail).
Experience with VDI and virtual apps solutions (Citrix, VMware)
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and identify solutions.
Build servers from base hardware to clustered, virtualized, highly available systems.
Manage Active Directory objects, including users, groups, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Utilize enterprise backup solutions to backup and restore systems.
Administer and configure enterprise-level storage (HPE, DELL, Lenovo).
Manage and deploy endpoint protection.
Experience with monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Manage and review logs.
Support desktop products, including Windows 8.1, 10, and Office products.
Stay up to date on the latest technologies and best practices.
Ability to work with any other products or solutions to enhance services.
Knowledge of information security best practices in system administration and operations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a system administration role.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active
Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File Services, and Group Policy.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and hybrid configuration.
Working knowledge of backup system administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A problem-solving mentality.
Good to have skills:
Basic administration on Linux platforms.
Experience with other MS Systems Center Applications (SCCM, SCSM, SCOM, SCVMM).
Writing PowerShell and/or Bash scripts for process automation.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Writing SQL queries.
