Accountabilities:
· Perform system builds and hardware upgrade the Solaris and UNIX servers as well as hardware maintenance and repairs/replacements.
· Maintain and enhance existing systems administrator tools
· Diagnose and isolate operating system, server-side networking, and application related problems.
· Maintain effective communications with IT Teams and other support organizations.
· Provide system backup support including user menus, scripts, backup software and web-based monitoring tools.
· Assist with reporting metrics on system performance, stability and utilization
· Working environment, on-premises or cloud.
Areas of Expertise:
· Experienced in Solaris 10 & (11 is a plus).
· Experienced in Open Boot Print.
· Experienced in installing Patches & Packages
· Good Experience in for on-premises, cloud, hybrid environments
Educations:
· Bachelors degree in Computers/Information Technology
