We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So, we’re searching for a Senior Sales Manager with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our rooms, meeting suites and banquet halls.
A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue across market segments, meet sales targets, and drive new business opportunities.
- Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, conduct client meetings, and ensure repeat business through exceptional service and IHG’s Key Account Management framework.
- Team Collaboration: Work with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to align sales efforts, create targeted campaigns, and mentor junior sales colleagues.
- Operational Excellence: Use CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline, prepare accurate reports, and ensure compliance with IHG’s sales standards.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights for strategic planning.
- Upholding IHG Standards: Demonstrate True Hospitality in all client interactions and support initiatives promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and community engagement.
What We need from you: - Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
- Presentable, Preferably Kuwaiti National or Arabic speaker with excellent command of English, other languages would be an added advantage
- At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience required for premium or luxury brands within the hospitality industry or equivalent
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all guests and Clients
- Ability to do market research and identify new business opportunities
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite Programs, Opera knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with virtual tools for the purpose of sales & customer engagement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiastic, stress resistant and professional communicative skills
- Outgoing personality, team spirit oriented
