You‘ll make an impact by:
- Manage specific Automation/Instrumentation/Networking related engineering and testing.
- Manage complete engineering of DCS project to FDS, documentation, approvals, software engineering, completetesting ,commissioning to meet project requirements.
- Take care of small automation projects completely including project handling, technical clarifications, hardware/software implementation based on specifications and other technical data. Prepare industry specific solution, engineering packages, concepts and engineering templates. Analyze the technical specification, testing and documentation requirement of the project.
- Actively utilize all sources of information, know-how and experience for a project specific and
- entrepreneurial use. Strives to improve efficiency in engineering by finding out ways to do engineering in faster manner.
- Identifies and evaluates all evident risks, suggests appropriate counter measures and report the same to the project management.
- Commissioning of the engineered solution at customer sites using Siemens automation products and solutions.
- Conduct products training for customers in coordination with Siemens training center.
- Acting as technical support for Proposals and field service in coordination with relevant manager, support colleagues as required. Provide support to sales team by conducting site surveys specific to any tender requirement.
Your success is grounded in
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in projects/Engineering services. Knowledge of Automation systems / products. Experienced in Distributed Control Systems with specific focus on standardization and bulk engineering.
- Engineering Testing, integrating and commissioning of control systems in various projects. Have experience in designing and approval / testing of systems and products.
- Is able to lead and work with a team of junior engineers/technicians to get the tasks done especially for panel testing and testing at sites.
- Have worked in multicultural organization for at least 5 years.
- Flexibility, Supportive with the capability of developing a good relationship with colleagues/clients.
- Experience in PCS 7/ PCS neo. Trained in DCS and various Siemens solutions and platforms.
