الوصف الوظيفي

The Sales Engineer role is a pivotal position within the Purchasing & Procurement industry, particularly in Kuwait. This position combines technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products and services. The Sales Engineer acts as a bridge between the technical team and the client, ensuring that customer needs are met while also promoting the company's offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  2. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the technical aspects and benefits of products.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that customer requirements are accurately translated into product specifications.
  4. Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations to clients in a timely manner.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  6. Provide post-sales support and training to ensure customer satisfaction and product understanding.
  7. Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and gather market intelligence.
  8. Assist in the development of marketing strategies and promotional materials.
  9. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  10. Continuously improve personal knowledge of products and industry trends through ongoing training and education.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong technical background in engineering or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proven sales experience in a technical environment.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  8. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  9. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  10. Strong negotiation skills and a customer-focused mindset.
