To provide specialized services for the diagnosis and management of disease under the scope of care of the Urology Department
Principal Responsibilities:
· Performing the professional duties of a Registrar in accordance with the delineation of the scope of care and PRIVILEGES as recommended by the Head of the department and approved by the Credentialing committee.
· Performing duties in the outpatient clinic according to the department and Taiba hospital regulations.
· Performing the approved procedures according to the PRIVILEGES.
· Providing consultation services to the inpatient and outpatient services in his/ her area of expertise.
· Providing the needed urology care to the patients in the urology clinic.
· Sharing in the on-call duties as per the duty Schedule according to Departments and Hospital needs.
· Assuring performing urology documentation and charting in a legible and professional way
· Working closely with colleagues.
· Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues and patients.
Administrative Responsibilities:
· Undertakes the administrative duties assigned by the Head of the department or CMO.
· Participates in all mandatory departmental activities and serves in departmental and hospital committees and other administrative functions, as required.
· Assists the department in the development and implementation of techniques and practices that help maximize the utilization of all resources within the department and across Taiba Hospital.
· Abides by the current hospital and medical staff by laws, all relevant rules, regulations and policies and keeps updated concerning any changes that might occur.
· Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
· Participates in self-and others’ education, training and development as applicable.
