As a Prosthodontist – Prosthesis Case Planner, you will be responsible for reviewing and planning prosthetic treatments for patients, working closely with our clients (dentists, orthodontists, and dental labs) to design, customize, and execute comprehensive prosthetic solutions. Your deep understanding of restorative dentistry and prosthetic planning will be critical in guiding treatment decisions, optimizing prosthetic fit and functionality, and ensuring that all cases are handled with the highest level of precision.
This role is central to ensuring that our prosthetic parts meet the clinical needs of patients, and you'll work collaboratively with other professionals in the field to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prosthesis Case Planning: Develop detailed treatment plans for prosthodontic cases, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported restorations, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with dental professionals to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate prosthetic solutions.
- Treatment Design: Use digital tools and 3D imaging software to design and plan prostheses, ensuring a precise fit and functionality.
- Case Evaluation: Review patient records and diagnostic data (e.g., X-rays, scans) to create personalized prosthesis plans.
- Technical Support: Provide guidance and troubleshooting for dental professionals during the fabrication, fitting, and adjustment of prosthetic parts.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all prosthetic parts and designs meet high standards of quality and are customized to patient requirements.
- Ongoing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in prosthodontic technology, materials, and techniques to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Patient Communication (if needed): Assist in explaining treatment plans to patients, helping them understand their options and expected outcomes.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with sales teams and lab technicians to ensure seamless execution of prosthetic cases.
- DDS/DMD or equivalent degree with a specialization in Prosthodontics.
- In-depth experience in prosthodontic case planning, including complex restorative treatments, crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.
- Experience with digital prosthetics tools (e.g., CAD/CAM software, digital impressions) and an understanding of modern restorative technologies.
- Strong knowledge of dental prosthetic materials and their applications in patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to clients.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, functional prosthetic solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
