Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
Install and connect appliances such as sinks, toilets, dishwashers, and water heaters.
Layout and plan plumbing systems according to specifications and building codes.
Diagnose plumbing problems and perform necessary repairs.
Repair or replace broken pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent plumbing issues and ensure system efficiency.
Upgrade outdated plumbing systems to meet current codes and standards.
Install energy-efficient systems and fixtures to enhance sustainability and reduce costs.
Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing issues and solutions.
Provide estimates for plumbing work and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize disruption to clients.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Educational Qualifications & Work Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a plumber in residential and commercial settings.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and tolerate various weather conditions.
