MHE Foreman

**This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

Oversees the MHE operators and work under the general supervision of the MHE Manager. Enforces safety practices and documents all procedures. Coordinates all tasks and procedures for personnel as assigned and ensure proper communciation to the MHE Manager and/or MHE Superintendent.

• Requires specialized experience in diesel and automotive repair and maintenance.
• Installs specified new or reconditioned parts and/or makes required adjustments and reassembles complete unit.
• Disassembles engines and mechanical units to inspect parts and operating defects.
• Executes required preventive maintenance procedures. Performs inspections required by the company or government.
• Promotes teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process.
• Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
• Repairs and maintains and a variety of equipment which may include: motor vehicles such as internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors; electrical household or commercial appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, or dishwashing machines; or heavy equipment including cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors and pneumatic tools.
• Performs other duties as required

• Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Valid Heavy Duty - Kuwaiti Driver's License
  • Must be CAC Eligible and be able to pass a National Agency Check with inquires (NACI)
• Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
  • Requires knowledge of oilfield services equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Requires specialized experience in diesel and automotive repair and maintenance.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Material Handling Equipment (Fork Lift Operations, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, etc.)
  • Heavy Equipment (Excavator, Bucket Load, Horizontal Bore, Backhoe, Boom Truck, etc.)
  • Must be able to train employees and to learn to operate new MHE/Heavy Equipment
  • Must be able to operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Must know proper ground guiding procedures and hand signals
  • Must under stand OSP infrastructure diagrams.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • May lead a team of MHE Operators
• Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Medium and up to Heavy work. Exerting up to 50 pounds to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
