Job Summary
Our law office is seeking a friendly and organized Legal Receptionist to manage our
front desk. In this role, you will answer and redirect phone calls when necessary,
greet clients and other visitors at the office when they arrive, schedule client
appointments, and take accurate messages for attorneys and other staff. On a daily
basis, you will also sort and distribute mail, organize client files, and assist lawyers
with other administrative duties. Legal experience is a plus but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Welcoming clients and visitors upon arrival at reception
2. Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner
3. Assisting clients and visitors with the location of legal staff
4. Scheduling and confirming appointments
5. Observing business etiquette, and maintaining a professional appearance
6. Directing the flow of mail, faxes, and deliveries to reach the intended
recipients
7. Ordering and replenishing office supplies
8. Managing the maintenance and repair of office equipment
9. Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking, and travel
bookings
10. Preparing meeting facilities and arranging refreshments.

Qualifications and skills:

Minimum 1- 3 years of office experience is required
