- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Respond promptly to HVAC system emergencies and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to evaluate their performance and identify potential issues.
- Recommend upgrades or replacements for HVAC components to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of HVAC maintenance and repair activities.
- Comply with company policies and regulations regarding HVAC systems and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components including air handlers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and controls.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- HVAC certification or relevant technical qualifications preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces when necessary.
