Humanities Faculty (Psychology, Ethics, Sociology)

Job Overview:

AIU is seeking a motivated and interdisciplinary Faculty Member in Psychology, Ethics, and Sociology to join our dynamic academic community. The successful candidate will teach, conduct research, and contribute to the university's service activities, fostering an engaging and inclusive environment that promotes academic and professional growth. This role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and the integration of innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Psychology, Ethics, Sociology, and related interdisciplinary fields.
• Develop, revise, and assess curricula to ensure alignment with academic and professional standards.
• Conduct scholarly research in areas of expertise and contribute to the academic advancement of the field.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their personal and career development.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, promoting connections between Psychology, Ethics, Sociology, and other fields.
• Engage in departmental and institutional service activities, such as committee work, program development, and student engagement initiatives.
  

Qualifications:

Education:

• Ph.D. in Psychology, Sociology, Ethics, Humanities, or a closely related discipline (preferred).
• A Master’s degree with significant teaching and professional experience will also be considered.

Experience:

• Proven excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Psychology, Ethics, and Sociology.
• A record of research, publications, or professional achievements in relevant disciplines.
• Familiarity with American higher education systems and interdisciplinary teaching approaches is strongly preferred.
