Job Title: CashierLocation: Salmiya, KuwaitWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cashier to join our team in Salmiya. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.Scan items accurately and efficiently using POS systems.Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately.Provide customers with receipts and bags.Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively and politely.Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.Follow all company policies and procedures.Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.Maintain a high level of accuracy to minimize discrepancies.Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Kuwaiti laws and regulations regarding cash handling and sales transactions.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience as a cashier is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
