As a Factory Manager, you shall be responsible for a safe, sustainable and efficient production and logistics operations in Kuwait.
Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:
Responsible for Production Management and Maintenance of the factory, machinery and utilities.
Factory teams and specially factory management development plans ownership
Includes execution of the strategy, policy and processes for the efficient, effective and compliant delivery
Serves customer deliveries out of Middle East Operations
Implement Operations strategy in Kuwait operations and Continuous improvement
T&O representative in the SOE, SOP, RF processes for Kuwait and first point of contact of the segment business head
Drives continuous improvement, CAPEX and FtG program ownership
Oversees all daily operations of the Factory from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
Develops processes that will improve safety, quality and productivity
Planning, organizing, advising and running optimum day-to-day operations of the Factory.
Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.
Responsible for production output and product quality
This role will be based in Kuwait and will report into Manufacturing Operations Manager.
Furthermore, we expect that you have
Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or Production Engineering or Masters in Chemistry
Proven work experience as Factory Manager in paint or chemical company, engineering and production
Strong leadership , team building, decision-making and people management skills
Certified Fire Fighter and First Aider
Proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Suite, etc.
Knowledge in ERP applications
Familiarity with the industry standard equipment and technical expertise
Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory process
Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
Solid understanding of color and composition formulation, tinting and mixing processes
Ability to create accountability and lead by example
Excellent communication skills fluent in written and verbal English.
Ability to work with people from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
