About the location:
What You Will Do
Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations, preparing sauces, cold meats, and vegetables.
Cook and prepare lunch, dinner, and assist with both hot and cold food preparations.
Follow recipes and guidelines for featured menus, ensuring accurate preparation, cooking, finishing, and garnishing.
Contribute to menu preparation for restaurants and banquets, whether à la carte or buffet.
Ensure accurate setups and mise-en-place before restaurant opening.
Maintain food quality, rotation, and presentation in designated kitchen areas.
Support buffet setups and ensure smooth service with adequate backups.
Keep all food storage areas and refrigeration clean and well-organized.
Uphold high standards of kitchen cleanliness without compromise.
Assist with requisitions and par stock management to avoid overstocking and ensure consistent supply.
Stay informed about in-house occupancy, breakfast requirements, and banquet details.
Ensure all food preparations meet taste, quantity, and quality standards for uninterrupted service.
Provide personalized service in the open kitchen, following hygiene and sanitation standards.
What You Will Bring
The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, and possesses strong cooking, organizational, and people-management skills.
A culinary diploma/degree is preferred, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury hotel.
