About the job
As a .NET Team Lead at
Aspire, you will lead a team to design, implement, and optimize scalable APIs for web and mobile platforms. You will ensure high performance, automate tasks, and provide ongoing support for seamless API functionality.
What you’ll do
Lead the development and maintenance of secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs.
Design API solutions and integrations.
Guide team members through complex technical challenges and code reviews.
Collaborate with product teams to align API designs with business goals.
Monitor API performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Manage sprints and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of modern practices and tools.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in .NET development with a strong focus on APIs and microservices.
Expertise in C#, .NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.
Experience with API security protocols like OAuth2 and JWT.
Proficient in database design and development using Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Strong understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of API gateways like Kong, Apigee, or Azure API Management.
Experience in logging and monitoring APIs (e.g., Splunk, ELK, or Application Insights).
Exposure to serverless computing or event-driven architecture.
Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar
