  • Achieve profit of Parts Department through sales of parts and accessories through use of advertising and merchandising programs as well as having personnel capable and motivated to satisfy customer needs.
  • Manage Departmental expenses according to the budget.
  • Establish and maintain Consumer Relations policy: Wholesale customer follow-up, material return policy, complaint handling, etc.
  • Establish and maintain practices designed to train, develop, and motivate Department employees.
  • Establish and maintain inventory control system to meet dealership’s parts and accessories internal and warranty requirements as well as retail and wholesale customers.
  • Establish and maintain purchase and ordering policy: Purchase order system, inventory guides figures, order code status, etc.
  • Use inventory control system processing procedures and management reports ensuring complete, and accurate feedback of inventory condition. (Turnover, obsolescence, part aging, guide quantities, lost sales, etc.)
  • Maintain catalogues, price schedules, and other technical bulletins that are needed.
  • Establishing and maintain shipping/ receiving policy: Wholesale routes, delivery timetables check-in and inspection, etc.
  • Prepare reports with regard to profit targets.
  • Establish and maintain good working relations with service department to reduce conflict and maximize dealer profitability.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with principal dealer that results in sound working arrangements.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with management and other department heads.
  • Handle wholesale parts sales in terms of outdoor staff.
  • Ensure adequate parts minimizing stock and achieving fill rate as per standards.
  • Manage utilization of parts staff and arranging shifts to cover operations.
  • Utilizing dealership management systems to track inventory, sales, and customer data, and generating reports for management review.
  • Using sales data to identify trends, optimize pricing strategies, and develop targeted marketing campaigns to boost parts sales.
  • Implementing marketing strategies to promote parts sales, including special offers and promotions to drive business.
  • Utilizing predictive analytics and historical data to forecast demand for parts, minimizing overstock and stockouts.
  • Identifying and qualifying new suppliers to diversify the supply chain and mitigate risks.
  • Setting up rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all parts meet the dealership’s standards and customer expectations.
