King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:
Software Technical Support
Responsibilities:
Provides the required technical support to end users, and responds to their enquiries and resolves their hardware/ software problems. Maintains a high end user service level for all support queries, and adheres to the accredited policies and procedures. Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and software errors Takes ownership of user problems and proactively deals with users’ issues, and performs technical diagnosis and fixes outstanding issues either remotely or on-site. Follow up on all requests received through the service desk system and conduct all relevant documentation. Maintains a log for the detected software/ hardware problems. Supports end users in the usage of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice. Transfers more complex service issues to the relevant IT team member for resolving them. Arrange/seek external technical support if problems cannot be resolved internally. Ensures that all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met either with King Hussein Cancer Center departments or with external vendors. Provides monthly statistics regarding the helpdesk issues to the direct supervisor. Maintains user security on all systems. Develop custom code, reports, and scripts to support the ERP functionalities and conduct the relevant documentation. Performs any related task as requested by the direct supervisor. This job may require working variable shift hours as determined by the department's needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field. One-year experience in Technical support Knowledge of databases and operating systems Ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills & Good Problem-solving skills
