Description: Responsibilities: •Develop and implement departmental plans and programs aligned with the division’s strategic objectives. •Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring financial control and alignment with organizational goals. •Define and execute productivity and development initiatives for the department. •Monitor financial and technical performance, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for evaluation. •Issue regulations and decisions in accordance with approved authorities and responsibilities. •Prepare and submit periodic reports on project activities and achievements. •Conduct regular meetings with project teams and internal departments to review progress and address challenges. •Provide updates to the Operations Director on project status, issues, and resolutions. •Offer guidance on project management tools and software to enhance workflow efficiency. •Assess training and development needs for project management staff. •Ensure projects align with timelines and objectives set by the Operations Director. •Work with project managers to define, assign, and prioritize tasks, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders. •Facilitate resolution of challenges and obstacles in collaboration with clients and internal teams. •Track project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints. •Identify and mitigate risks while leveraging opportunities for project success. •Coordinate vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance monitoring. •Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders regarding significant project developments. •Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, and external vendors. •Support project teams in overcoming obstacles to meet project timelines and goals. •Ensure accurate documentation of work plans, progress reports, and expenditures. •Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Odoo, Primavera, MS Planner, and Kandy. •Oversee the creation of necessary project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards. •Implement project governance standards and align project management practices with company policies. •Identify process improvement opportunities within the PMO, integrating new tools and methodologies. •Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). •Certifications in PMP, MCIOB, Prince2, Contract Administration, Claims Management, Planning, Cost Control, or Program Management are highly preferred. •5-8 years of relevant experience. •Expertise in contract management, project management, planning and cost control, claims management, program management, and risk management. •Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. •Strong leadership skills to manage teams effectively. •Fluency in English with professional writing skills.
