Senior .Net Engineer

About the jobAs aSr. Software Engineer (.Net)at Aspire, you will build software using languages and technologies of the .Net framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support, and maintain, expand, and scale the website. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects.

What you’ll do

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.
  
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  
• Collaborate with the project team to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  
• Create and maintain software documentation.
  
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the website.
  
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or any IT-related field.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
  
• Experience in Entity Framework.
  
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript and Web APIs using dot-net core.
  
• Strong understanding of object-oriented basic principals.
  
• Good experience in databases, preferably Oracle DB.
  
• Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar​
