Senior GRC Consultant

Jordan (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive security operations strategies and plans.
• Manage relationships and collaborate closely with end customers, vendors, and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with security objectives.
• Design, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to achieve and maintain compliance with industry regulations and security best practices.
• Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends to proactively identify and address potential risks.
• Conduct regular audits and security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Leverage experience in Security Operations Management and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to uphold security standards.
• Deliver clear, detailed progress reports to clients, providing transparency on assumptions, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years in a security leadership role, with demonstrated experience in managing and enhancing security operations.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems and protocols.
• Deep knowledge of contemporary security concepts, frameworks, and applications.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to rapidly assimilate information, forming a complete understanding of overall solutions, architecture, technology, and key stakeholder requirements.
