Your Impact
The Senior Financial Analyst is based in Jordan and reports to the Head of Finance, and will be responsible for providing detailed financial analysis, developing financial models, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to enhance business performance and drive organizational growth.
What You'll Do
- Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and financial performance indicators.
- Conduct profitability assessments and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for business planning, budgeting, and forecasting purposes.
- Utilize financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts to support organizational planning.
- Track actual performance against budget/forecast and provide detailed variance analysis.
- Create detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to deliver insights that drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate data collection processes.
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities within the business environment.
- Propose actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
- Introduce automation and best practices within the finance function to streamline workflows.
- Serve as a financial advisor to department heads and business leaders, providing insights and guidance to support initiatives and drive performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals and strategies.
- Comply with company quality standards and adhere to safety protocols and local regulations.
- Address and escalate work-related issues or hazards to ensure swift resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager to support the achievement of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with expertise in interpreting complex financial data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise financial information.
- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all financial reporting and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and foster strong working relationships.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
