A huge leading industrial company based in the south of Jordan is seeking to recruit Senior Electrical Procurement Officer.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for electrical systems and components.
· Manage Supplier/Vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and project timelines.
· Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
· Collaborate with engineering, Project Management, and construction teams to align procurement with technical Specifications.
· Monitor and survey the market and explore opportunities for cost savings without compromising the specified quality.
· Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations.
· Prepare detailed procurement reports and maintain efficient documentation.
· Implement performance monitoring and supplier evaluation metrics to drive improvements.
· Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and develop contingency plans and mitigation measures
· Electrical Engineering Qualification is required (higher degree is plus).
· Experience in industrial projects procurement for minimum 5 years and total of 10 years.
· Professional in using Codes, Standards (certificates in plus).
· Excellent in English language (reading, writing and speaking).
· The successful candidate should be a non-smoker.
The type of contract will be a service agreement.
