As a Senior Quality Engineer at Aspire, you'll design and implement automated test frameworks to ensure the quality of both new and existing software. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll create efficient test scripts, enhance test coverage, and improve the overall software delivery process to ensure reliable, high-quality applications.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium (for Web) or Java and Appium (for Mobile) to ensure high-quality applications.
Write clear, concise, and maintainable test scripts and documentation to track test cases and results effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, improve product quality, and ensure seamless integration.
Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, and performance tests for both web and mobile applications.
Ensure effective timezone overlap with the team (East Coast or Pacific Time Zone) for real-time communication and collaboration.
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience with Java and Selenium (for Web) or Java and Appium (for Mobile).
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and maintainable test scripts and documentation.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in both Mobile and Web testing across different platforms and devices.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools to drive continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and enhance product quality.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Experience in performance, functional, and regression testing.
- Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and report defects effectively.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Mandatory timezone overlap with the team (East Coast or Pacific Time Zone) for real-time communication and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or any IT related field.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar
