As a Quality Assurance Engineerat Aspire, you will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will be an integral part of our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost effective.
What you'll do
Review and comprehend User Stories for the assigned projects and send any questions or required clarifications directly to the client.
Develop and maintain the high level test cases and scenarios.
Ensure the timely testing for each build as required by the client.
Provide status reports to the client as required.
Develop the production release testing plan and manage the testing on the day of the production release.
What you'll need
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
2-4 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on experience in Web and Mobile testing.
Extensive experience in Web and Mobile testing.
Strong expertise in API testing, and validating API responses.
Experience in Database testing.
Ability to understand and analyze complex software requirements and specifications.
Has good experience in using Jira
knowledge and/or experience in automation testing using popular automation tools is a plus.
