Job Description

The ORACLE ERP Data Base & Unix Specialist role is to design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tuning of ORACLE ERP production/development/test environments and other databases while ensuring high levels of data availability, reliability and integrity. Also maintaining, planning, installing, administering and troubleshooting of Unix Servers in the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure ORACLE EBS system and databases are operating efficiently.
• Perform daily routine check on UNIX and Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EBS database-related issues promptly to maintain seamless operations.
• Perform data uploads and other necessary preparations before deploying systems into service.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Monitors, optimizes and allocates physical data storage for database systems.
• Monitors, solve any problems related to applications and Operating systems.
• Develops, implements, and maintains change control and tests processes for modifications to databases.
• Establishes appropriate end-user database access and control levels.
• Administer and maintain the Backup operation and process for the ERP environment according to backup policy.
• Planning, supporting, installation & maintenance for UNIX OS, ORACLE ERP Application and Sun servers.

Carry out additional tasks related to the role as assigned.
