Description: Our electrical manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager with a background in Industrial or Electrical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a highly skilled and capable professional with a proven track record in managerial roles. Possessing an MBA or other relevant professional certifications will be considered a plus. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the General Manager with daily tasks and overall operations while leading the engineering efforts for a proposed factory expansion. Responsibilities: 1. Daily Operations Management: - Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to develop and execute operational strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. - Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. - Monitor production schedules, analyze production data, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. - Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions to streamline processes and boost overall performance. 2. Lead Engineer for Factory Expansion: - Take the lead in the proposed factory expansion project, from conceptualization to execution. - Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making related to the expansion plan. - Develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for the expansion, considering electrical system design, layout optimization, and resource allocation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution within budget and timelines. - Supervise and coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal staff to guarantee successful implementation. 3. Team Management and Development: - Lead, mentor, and motivate the engineering and operations teams to foster a positive work culture and achieve organizational goals. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team, and facilitate professional development opportunities. 4. Quality Assurance and Compliance: - Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold product standards and ensure customer satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies across all operational activities. 5. Budgeting and Cost Control: - Collaborate with the Finance department to develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations and the proposed factory expansion. - Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize resource allocation. Requirements: 1. Educational Background and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience 8+ Years (at least 5 years) in a managerial role, preferably in the electrical manufacturing industry. 2. Managerial Skills: - Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving performance. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure. 3. Project Management: - Demonstrated experience in managing engineering projects, preferably related to factory expansion or large-scale operations. 4. Technical Knowledge: - Comprehensive knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes and industry best practices. - Familiarity with electrical system design, automation, and relevant technologies. 5. Certifications: - An MBA or relevant professional certifications are highly desirable but not required. 6. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships.
