Maintenance Technician - Roving
Full-time Regular 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 5224 Salary Range: $27.00 To $27.00 Hourly Great Lakes Management is looking for a full-time Roving Maintenance Technician! 40 hours per week, flexible hours, generally 8am to 4:30pm. This role will be required to travel to multiple GLM locations in Savage, Burnsville, and Shakopee to provide maintenance support as needed. This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation, 4-5 weeks off-call and 1 week on-call.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed. Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc. Test the resident security systems as required. Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Experience in rental housing maintenance required. Boiler License preferred, but not required. Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows. Ability to motivate oneself and work independently. Current, valid driver’s license.
Schedule:
This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation, 4-5 weeks off-call and 1 week on-call. On-call cities include Burnsville, Savage, Shakopee, Jordan, New Prague, and Elko New Market.
