Description: Responsibilities: •Maintain daily follow-up of activities, including job cards, purchase requests, staff time, shifts, repair schedules, stock availability, equipment effectiveness, vehicle cleanliness, and workshop organization. •Review job orders to determine work priorities and ensure efficient operations. •Monitor and analyze daily operational costs to improve efficiency. •Accurately diagnose breakdowns, identify required repairs, and oversee replacement parts, engine overhauls, and other maintenance activities. •Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, spare parts usage, and vehicle history for analysis and reporting purposes. •Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols across the team and workshop operations. •Develop and implement a clear, flexible working schedule to minimize overtime. •Manage sales cooler operations, including dispatch, recordkeeping, maintenance, and reverse logistics. •Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure cost-effective and scheduled maintenance. •Conduct field visits to external garages and spare parts shops to ensure price control and quality of spare parts. •Train and coach staff on handling regular, preventive, and emergency maintenance requests effectively. •Perform monthly analysis and reporting of maintenance and fuel costs. •Manage fleet licensing, insurance, and other regulatory issues on time. •Plan, develop, and implement new methods to improve operations, reduce costs, and enhance the utilization of fuel, labor, and equipment. •Maintain stock systems to ensure required parts are available without exceeding pre-agreed limits. •Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to select outsourcing garages and spare parts suppliers for regional depots, ensuring repair and part quality. •Prepare and monitor department budgets in coordination with the Supply Chain Director/Logistics Manager and Financial Controller. •Perform other duties as requested by the direct manager. Requirements: •Proven experience in fleet management or a related role. •Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, spare parts management, and operational cost control. •Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. •Ability to manage and coach teams, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards. •Proficiency in maintaining records, managing budgets, and reporting on operational metrics. •Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to fleet licensing and insurance. •Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing external garages and spare parts suppliers. •Knowledge of developing preventive maintenance schedules and ensuring timely execution. •Competence in managing stock levels, procurement, and supplier relationships. •Bachelor’s degree in logistics, mechanical engineering, or a related field (preferred).
