Below are the key duties and responsibilities associated with this role:
1.Review utility system designs (both dry & wet) to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
2.Assess the functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of designs.
3.Ensure the integration of utility systems with other infrastructure components (e.g., roads, buildings).
4.Identify design conflicts or issues and work with the design team to resolve them.
5.Verify that design solutions align with the project scope and client expectations.
6.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, MEP) to ensure seamless integration of utility systems.
7.Lead regular coordination meetings with engineers, BIM modelers, and other contractors to discuss design and technical issues.
8.Ensure that design modifications are communicated effectively across all project stakeholders.
9.Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to clarify design intentions and resolve on-site issues.
10.Facilitate clash detection and resolution using BIM or other coordination tools.
11.Oversee the generation and review of shop drawings for utility systems, ensuring they reflect accurate and sufficient details and align with the approved design.
12.Ensure shop drawings meet technical specifications, local codes, and standards.
13.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to review material specifications and ensure accuracy.
Bachelor Degree/ Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Experience
Three to Six years of relevant experience at large scale contracting companies or Banking sectors.
Training:
Advanced training courses in Accounting is
preferable.
