Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer at Babil Games, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure. About the role
Data Infrastructure Development:
+ Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.+ Implement data models and database structures to support analytics and reporting.
+ Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems.
Data Integration:
+ Develop and maintain ETL processes to ingest data from various sources into the data warehouse.+ Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate data solutions with business needs.
Performance Optimization:
+ Optimize and tune data systems for performance and cost-efficiency.+ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaboration and Support:
+ Work closely with software engineers, data analysts, and product managers to understand data requirements.+ Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
+ Stay updated with the latest data engineering trends and technologies.+ Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement in data workflows.

Experience and Skills
Must-Haves:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
+ Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
+ Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
+ Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
+ Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice-to-Haves:
+ Experience in the gaming industry or with game-related data.+ Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
+ Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
