Purpose of consultancy Educational Qualifications: Desirable: Specialization in health information management systems, working knowledge of data analysis processes, techniques and need assessment tools within the context of cluster approach with demonstrated understanding of the health cluster functions and public health information standards in emergency context such as Syria emergency, Experience:

Essential: Up to five years of relevant experience combined at the national and international levels in data and/or information management, including experience in emergency operations or humanitarian contexts. Desirable : Prior emergency disaster and health outbreak response or humanitarian working experience at the field level, with WHO/UN agencies, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations, or with an international nongovernmental organization. Skills/Knowledge: 1) Excellent written and verbal communication and coordination skills 2) Advanced practical knowledge and prior experience of using information management tools and software, such as Excel, ArcGIS, illustrator, Kobo, and PowerBI. 3) Demonstrated knowledge of health information systems with the ability to identify and manage difficult situations. 4) Demonstrated experience in data collection, assessment, analysis, and monitoring in a public health context. 5) Advance ability to design, manage, analyse, and coordinate complex information system projects, computer-based applications and databases, and web-based tools. 7) Experience in transferring knowledge to diverse audiences through training, mentoring, and workshop. 8) Confident practical knowledge in data collection, data input oversight, multi-variate data analysis, and dissemination of mapping tools. 9) Knowledge of program management and functioning of WHO and the UN system. 5.
