CIB Product Development Unit Manager

The Bank of Jordan is looking for a dynamic and experienced CIB Product Development Unit Manager to join our Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of a diverse range of investment banking products tailored to meet the needs of our corporate clients.

Your expertise in financial markets combined with your innovative mindset will be crucial in designing competitive products that align with market trends and client demand. As a key player, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure that our product offerings are comprehensive, effective, and meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the CIB Product Development Unit, overseeing the design, development, and launch of new products and services.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product offerings and enhancements to existing products.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and key stakeholders to understand client needs and integrate those needs into new product designs.
• Ensure that all developed products comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Develop pricing strategies and economic models for new products to ensure profitability while remaining competitive.
• Monitor the performance of existing products, providing recommendations for improvements and adjustments, as necessary.
• Lead cross-functional teams in product implementation and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management on new product initiatives and results.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continually enhance the bank's product offerings.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and products.
• Oversee product testing and quality assurance to ensure products meet the highest standards of performance and security.
• Prepare detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Review Integrated Product Assurance Documents (IPADs) to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
