Assistant Chief Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel.

• Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

• Supervise and train engineering team members to maintain IHG standards.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes.

• Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

• Strong knowledge of hotel maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in IHG hotels is a plus.
