Academic Counselor

Responsibilities:

• Guide and support students throughout the entire application process on the "Common App" platform, including selecting suitable universities, completing application forms, and preparing necessary documents.
• Conduct virtual counseling sessions to understand each student's unique needs, preferences, and academic goals.
• Provide expert advice on crafting personal statements, essays, and other application materials to enhance the chances of acceptance.
• Monitor application deadlines and ensure timely submission of all materials.
• Stay updated on changes and updates related to the "Common App" platform and admission processes of various U.S. universities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create resources and materials to assist students with their applications.
• Maintain detailed records of student interactions and application progress to ensure continuity and quality of service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. college admissions process, particularly with the "Common App" platform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience in academic counseling or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
