The Senior Healthcare Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of healthcare systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Senior Coordinator will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the organization's strategic objectives.
Assists in the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Records the benchmark status, and devises many sub-projects to help improve, co-ordinate and prioritise the execution.
Deliver and monitors improvements, tracks and extracts benefits, and redeploys efforts if required.
Monitors project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact timelines or deliverables.
Acts as the primary point of contact between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners, facilitating communication and collaboration.
Organizes and leads project meetings, prepares agendas, and documenting minutes and action items.
Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and change requests.
Prepares and presents regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas of concern.
Coordinates resources, ensuring project teams are adequately staffed and supported throughout the project lifecycle.
Tracks and manages project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and reporting any discrepancies.
Ensures all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Conducts post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Identifies opportunities for process enhancements within project management practices, recommending and implementing best practices.
Stays updated on industry trends, methodologies, and technologies that can improve project outcomes.
Provides guidance and mentorship to junior project coordinators and staff, fostering professional development within the team.
Leads training sessions on project management tools and methodologies as needed.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for presenting information clearly and concisely.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Minimum 1 year of experience in GCC (preferred).
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on healthcare initiatives.
