Business Development:

business opportunities within the transportation and logistics industry,
including key verticals such as e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing.
Collaborate with the
marketing team to create effective campaigns that attract and retain clients.
Account Management & Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong
relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term
partnerships.
Act as the primary point of
contact for major clients, providing tailored solutions and resolving issues
proactively.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a
high-performing sales team, setting clear goals, conducting regular performance
evaluations, and identifying training needs.
Foster a collaborative team
environment focused on meeting targets and delivering excellent customer
service.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Prepare and manage the
sales budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring they align with financial
objectives.
Forecast sales projections
based on market analysis, adjusting targets as needed to reflect changes in the
market landscape.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with the
operations, finance, and customer service departments to streamline processes
and enhance service delivery.
Provide input for
continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to improve the customer
experience.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate regular sales
reports for the General Manager, detailing performance metrics, growth
opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Strong understanding of
logistics and supply chain management principles.
Proven track record in
meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent leadership,
interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in CRM software
and MS Office Suite.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s
degree is a plus.
