Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Recreation Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As the Recreation Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our recreational facilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a culturally rich environment and contribute to the growth of our recreation department.


  • Oversee the daily operations of all recreational facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff
  • Develop and implement innovative recreation programs and activities that cater to diverse guest preferences
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of recreation staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and equipment maintenance for all recreational areas
  • Collaborate with other departments to create seamless guest experiences and promote recreational offerings
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures across all recreational facilities
  • Analyze guest feedback and recreation trends to continuously improve program offerings
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries and concerns related to recreational activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-year leadership experience in a recreation or hospitality setting
  • Proven experience in managing recreational facilities and programs
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
