Job description
Quality Control Manager is in charge of Product Quality, which includes supervising the production process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards. His duties include developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and writing reports documenting production issues.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.
· Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards.
· Preparing reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing data.
· Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products.
· Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.
· Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.
· Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards.
· Dealing with customers complaints and issues.

1. In-depth knowledge of PET plastic manufacturing processes, preform and cap production.
2. Familiarity with blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion techniques.
3. Experience implementing and managing ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or other relevant quality standards.
4. Proficiency in conducting quality inspections, audits, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
5. Expertise in monitoring and improving product quality through statistical process control (SPC).
6. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve defects or process inefficiencies.
7. Ability to manage quality issues related to PET material properties, such as crystallinity, clarity, and durability.
8. Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment used for PET materials, such as tensile strength testers, thermal analyzers, and torque testers.
9. Knowledge of testing methods for barrier properties, dimensional accuracy, and sealing performance.
10. Understanding of food-grade PET production and related safety requirements.
11. Awareness of environmental regulations and best practices for recycling PET materials.
12. Proven ability to lead and train a quality assurance team.
13. Experience in coordinating with production, R&D, and maintenance teams to ensure quality standards.
14. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
15. Ability to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for continuous improvement.
16. Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing quality reports and presenting findings.
17. Ability to liaise with clients and vendors to address quality-related concerns effectively.
18. Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.
19. Keen attention to detail for identifying potential quality risks.
20. Proactive mindset to anticipate and mitigate production or quality-related challenges.
