Job Role MEL Officer Compensation Monthly gross salary: 4,053.00 EUR Allowances and Benefits Health and Accident Insurance and six weeks’ annual leave ICMPD's Silk Routes Regional Office implements an array of projects in Iraq, ranging from:
- Supporting information dissemination and awareness raising among potential, outgoing, and returning migrants in Iraq, to promote informed decision-making.
- Pursuing to strengthen whole-of-government/whole-of-society and capacity building partnerships with governmental stakeholders to contribute to improved migration governance, including through training, technical and infrastructure support.
- Supporting an expanded role and partnerships with Iraq's private sector to enhance outreach to returnees and their referral to reintegration services.
In support of assigned projects, the MEL Officer will implement monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities under the day-to-day supervision of the Project Manager / Team Leader - Iraq and the Head of Office ICMPD Iraq, with the technical supervision and oversight of ICMPD’s Strategy, Knowledge, Evaluation and Impact (SKEI) Unit. SKEI’s functional role is to provide monitoring, evaluation and learning technical assistance, oversight and quality assurance in accordance with ICMPD’s project management system.
Mandatory Languages: English, fluent Arabic.
Proficiency in Kurdish (Sorani) is considered an asset.
