Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the contracting and construction industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems for our construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: •Conduct research and analysis to develop and design mechanical systems for new construction projects. •Oversee the installation and testing of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations. •Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that mechanical systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs. •Provide technical support to construction teams, including troubleshooting and problem-solving. •Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the long-term performance and reliability of mechanical systems. •Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, making recommendations for improvements and innovations in mechanical design and engineering. Requirements: •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. •At least 8 years of experience working in mechanical engineering in the contracting and construction industry. •Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, with experience designing, installing, and maintaining these systems. •Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to mechanical systems. •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. •Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. •Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. •Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
